Summer is a great time of the year. It consists of three months: warm June, July and hot hot August. Long sunny days are followed by short, warm nights. Most of the time there is wonderful, dry weather. The birds sing loudly in the blue sky. Trees are dressed in green clothes, and beetles buzz above them, and butterflies flitter. The enormous amount of beautiful colors blossoms out: blue, red, orange, yellow, violet. Contrast and beauty of colors are fascinating. In the mornings larks sing, and in the evenings until the dawn the singing of crickets does not grow silent.
In the summer there are rains, but they are warm and cheerful. The air is heating up, it becomes hot, and large drops wash off the dust from the roads and leaves on the trees. And after the thunderstorms there are huge puddles everywhere, the water drains from the roofs, the wet leaves on the trees sparkle in the sun like diamonds, the air is filled with freshness. Nature comes to life, and everyone rejoices in the long-awaited rain that has passed. And in the end, beautiful and colorful rainbow appears in the sky.
Summer is time of holidays and vacations. People go to the sea to recreate and sunbathe. Someone prefers to have a rest in the mountains, but someone likes to travel to interesting places and to do some sightseeing. It is cheerful and good for one’s health to spend vacation at the cottage or in the village. There are a lot of lovers of beds and works in the garden. The summer season gives us fresh mint, berries and vegetables. A variety of choices, bright colors and amazing aromas can turn one’s head.
You can spend your time walking in the woods, arrange picnics near the river, go on long hikes, or to go fishing with friends. Unfortunately, the summer is over very quickly and unnoticed, and we begin to look forward to the next summer vacation.

Літо – прекрасна пора року. Складається із трьох місяців: теплого червня, спекотного липня і спекотного серпня. Довгі сонячні дні чергуються з короткими теплими ночами. Велику частину часу стоїть чудова, суха погода. Високо в синьому небі дзвінко співають птахи. Дерева одягнені в зелені шати, а над ними жуки дзижчать, і пурхають метелики. Розпускається величезна кількість красивих квітів: синіх, червоних, помаранчевих, жовтих, фіолетових. Контраст і краса відтінків заворожує. Вранці співають жайворонки, а вечорами до самого світанку не мовкне спів цвіркунів.
У літній час бувають і дощі, але вони теплі та веселі. Повітря розжарюється, стає гарячим, а великі краплі змивають пил з доріг і листя на деревах. А після грозових злив залишаються величезні калюжі, з дахів стікає вода, мокрі листя на деревах виблискують на сонці подібно діамантам, повітря наповнюється свіжістю. Природа оживає, і всі радіють довгоочікуваного, пройшов дощ. І на завершення, на небосхилі з’являється красива і різнобарвна веселка.
Літо – час відпусток і канікул. Люди їдуть на море відпочити і позасмагати. Хтось віддає перевагу відпочинок в горах, а комусь подобається подорожувати по цікавим місцям. Весело і з користю для здоров’я можна провести відпочинок на дачі або в селі. Завжди знайдуться любителі грядок і робіт у городі. Літній сезон – сезон свіжих фруктів, ягід і овочів. Різноманітність вибору, яскраві кольори і дивовижні аромати можуть запаморочити голову.
Можна проводити свій час гуляючи в лісі, влаштовувати пікніки біля річки, вирушати в довгі походи, або з товаришами йти на риболовлю. На жаль, літо закінчується швидко і непомітно, і ми з нетерпінням починаємо чекати наступних літніх канікул.
